Positive emotion benefits
There is a long-standing tradition in medicine that maintains that the positive emotions can reduce the impact of the disease, to the extent of their final elimination of the agency. It is to that theory (that is empirical evidence that the sustains) to which we own in this site, and that we refer when we talk about the benefits of the laughter.
In fact, their medicinal benefits are concrete, and diabetes and cholesterol can be reduced significantly through the laughter. This is the conclusion of a study conducted by researchers Lee Berk and Stanley Tan of the Loma Linda University.
The diabetes and high cholesterol are two diseases quite common in modern societies, and through the laughter can reduce their impact. The conclusions of this study suggest that the laughter can directly reduce bad cholesterol and reduce levels of inflammation.
Experimenting with two groups of control of the one was composed of people with personalities happier than those in the second group; the researchers analyzed the hormonal activity of volunteers, noting that the hormonal activity of the members of the first group was healthier than those of the second.
